Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is starting to stack the lineup for a recently- announced “Fight Night” event scheduled to go down on March 13, 2021. According to BJPenn.com, Ryan Hall will face off against Dan Ige in a pivotal Featherweight affair.
Winner of eight straight, Hall was last seen competing in July of 2019, defeating Darren Elkins via unanimous decision. He was set to return against Ricardo Lamas in May of 2020 but the bout was postponed to later that August. However, Lamas was forced out of the fight and Hall’s return was one again stalled.
Ige, meanwhile, had his six-fight win streak snapped by Calvin Kattar last July at UFC Fight Island 1. Prior to the defeat, Ige had taken out some of the best including Edson Barboza and Mirsad Bektic. The winner of this bout is sure to get a huge bump in the rankings at 145 pounds.
The ESPN+-streamed event is set to be headlined by a Welterweight scrap between Leon Edwards and Khamzat Chimaev. Also, Jairzinho Rozenstruick will make his return to face Cyril Gane in Heavyeight action.
