If Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) light heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, wants to prove he was a better fighter than Matt Hamill, then he can pester Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) until his disqualification loss is overturned.
Or he can skip that protracted process and simply jump back into the Octagon with the still-active “Hammer,” who is more than willing to rematch “Bones” for the promotion’s 205-pound title later this year.
@joerogan @danawhite @JonnyBones to supports overturning Jon Jones DQ loss to me to a no contest? Well I’m not complaining about jones in the past what he used illegal substance when he fought me.12/6 elbow is illegal. Back to back wins. How about rematch?

Jones (24-1, 1 NC) was disqualified by referee Steve Mazzagatti at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 10 Finale back in 2009, a controversial finish that Dana White and Co. are trying to reverse ahead of the champ’s upcoming title fight against Thiago Santos at UFC 239.
As for Hamill (13-8), the 42 year-old wrestler is coming off back-to-back wins over Luiz Cane and Chris Birchier before offering Tito Ortiz a 2019 rematch. “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” declined, despite a 2010 loss, and “The Hammer” remains unbooked.
