Henry Cejudo says Urijah Faber should be careful what he wishes for.
After a three-year hiatus, UFC fan favorite Urijah Faber returned to the Octagon this Saturday to take on bantamweight prospect Ricky Simon in his hometown of Sacramento, California.
Faber returned to action in top form, earning a Performance of the Night bonus after dropping and finishing Simon with a barrage of punches in the first round of the UFC on ESPN+ 13 main event.
In his post-fight interview with Michael Bisping, ‘The California Kid’ called out UFC flyweight and bantamweight champion Henry Cejudo, and ‘The Messenger’ was quick to issue a response.
As corny as ever, Cejudo warned Faber that the Team Alpha Male owner could be the next UFC legend to ‘bend the knee to Triple C’.
Careful what you wish for my corn-rolled princess. You could be the next legend to bend the knee to Triple C. https://t.co/j5NcVrEoqz

“Careful what you wish for my corn-rolled princess. You could be the next legend to bend the knee to Triple C,” Cejudo posted on Twitter in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Cejudo, 32, last fought at UFC 238 where he knocked out Marlon Moraes to become the UFC’s first-ever simultaneous flyweight and bantamweight champion, capturing the 135-pound title in the main event at Chicago’s United Center.
The Olympic gold medallist has also comically called for a superfight against UFC women’s two-division champ Amanda Nunes, warning ‘The Lioness’ that he takes ‘no prisoners.’
