Having withdrawn from his second professional fight due to a cut suffered in training, former football star Herschel Walker will make his return to the cage on Jan. 29th at an as-of-yet announced Strikeforce card.
Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker made the announcement today on a radio appearance on San Jose’s KNBR 680 AM station.
Walker had been scheduled to meet Scott Carson on Dec. 4th in St. Louis but the cut forced him off the card. The 1982 Heisman Trophy winner made his professional debut last January at the “Stirkeforce: Miami” event, where the 48-year-old defeated Greg Nagy by TKO.
