Middleweight boxers Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Kamil Szeremeta threw down earlier tonight (Sat., Oct. 12, 2024) LIVE on DAZN from inside Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Initially, the match up was competitive, but Eubank quickly proved himself the better man and picked up a seventh-round knockout.
The first couple rounds featured good action. Eubank found the timing on his right hand early, resulting in a knockdown early in the first. Still, Szeremeta was game. Even despite a speed disadvantage, Szeremeta managed to line up a couple good connections of his own and keep himself in the fight.
Largely, Eubank was a class above however. He continued to tag Eubank with power shots, particularly his nasty uppercut. The damage added up, and the speed disparity only grew larger. Eubank scored another nasty knockdown towards the end of the sixth, and the writing was on the wall.
In the seventh, Eubank floored his foe a third time with an uppercut that nearly sent his foe into a somersault. As soon as Szeremeta regained his feet, a Eubank body shot sent him to a knee. The referee had seen enough and wave it off despite Szeremeta’s protests.

After the win, Eubank traded barbs in the ring with former two-division champion Conor Benn. In all likelihood, that’s the next match up for “Next Gen.”
