Lorenz Larkin vs. Levan Chokheli squared off earlier tonight (Sat., Sept. 7, 2024) at Bellator San Diego inside Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California. In a dramatic win, Larkin scored the first-round knockout.
The fight didn’t last too long. Larkin found his range quickly and made use of his speed advantage to gauge distance. Before long, Larkin was popping his jab from both stances and getting Chokheli to react to feints. A couple moments later, “Da Monsoon” was unloading power punches and set his opponent to the floor, face-first.

It’s a great win for Larkin, who has now won two in a row via stoppage. The 38-year-old veteran is now in good position to contend for the Bellator Welterweight crown. As for Chokheli, his own three-fight win streak is snapped, and the 27-year-old knockout artist is sent to the back of the line.
