Amanda Serrano vs. Stevie Morgan squared off earlier tonight (Sat. July 20, 2024) from Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida for the Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry-headlined “Fear No Man” boxing event, streaming on DAZN pay-per-view (PPV). For the first time in three years, Serrano scored a knockout win.
She wasted very little time in this one. From the very first bell, there was a very clear difference in speed and power. Serrano pressed her advantage immediately, firing hard punches in bunches and pressing her opponent. Morgan just couldn’t do anything to keep Serrano away from her, who was undeterred by the rare counter shots that did land.
Morgan survived into the second round, but the writing was on the wall. She was taking so many clean shots to the body and head. Even if she wore them well, the referee wasn’t going to let a beating go on forever. As soon as Morgan looked a little wobbly and stopped firing back, the ref intervened to save her.

Serrano entered this bout as a -4000 favorite, and yeah, she definitely looked the part! She landed nearly everything she threw, and those bombs froze Morgan in place to eat more punches. It was a mismatch from the start, but really, this match just helped keep Serrano warm for her planned November rematch with Katie Taylor.
