After an undisclosed injury bounced Max Holloway from the UFC Vegas 31 main event, matchmakers opted to rebook his 145-pound showdown against Yair Rodriguez for the promotion’s upcoming fight card on Nov. 13, thought a city and venue have yet to be confirmed.

That’s according to UFC President Dana White (via TSN).

Holloway, 29, is looking to build on his emphatic victory over Calvin Kattar at the organization’s ABC event back in January, the first non-championship bout from the “Blessed” Hawaiian following back-to-back title fights against Alexander Volkanovski.

As for Rodriguez, 28, he’s been on the sidelines since capturing a unanimous decision victory over Jeremy Stephens at UFC on ESPN 6 in late 2019. “Pantera” has struggled to stay active, registering just two fights (and one No Contest) over the last four years.

Outside of the potential Holloway vs. Rodriguez headliner, the only other bout on paper for the Nov. 13 fight card is the heavyweight showdown pitting Philipe Lins against Ovince Saint Preux, though you can expect more bookings to start trickling in over the next several weeks.

Stay tuned.
