Evan Holyfield, son of boxing legend Evander Holyfield, improved to 8-0 with six knockouts by destroying Charles Stanford on the Herring-Stevenson undercard last Sat. night (Oct. 23) inside State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

And not surprisingly, he’s already being compared to a young “Real Deal.”

“At least I’m not getting compared to someone who isn’t good,” Holyfield told ESPN. “I’m getting better every single time. In the next one to three years I can possibly become a champion.”

Here’s another angle:

Also competing on last weekend’s card was the grandson of the late Muhammad Ali. Nico Ali Walsh, still just 21, stopped James Westley II in the third round of their middleweight affair to improve to 2-0 with two knockouts.

Have a look:

“I’m blessed that I am following the legacy of my grandfather,” Ali Walsh said after the fight. “Everyone who loved my grandfather is now watching me. I love this legacy that I’m continuing.”
