Home invaders victimize Ronda Rousey, steal her jewelry and sleep in her bed

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, was supposed to be enjoying one of the best days of her life, as longtime boyfriend Travis Browne was on his way to ask for her hand in marriage.

Instead, it was one of the worst.

That’s because “Rowdy” was the victim of a home invasion, where most of her personal belongings were stolen. In fact, squatters had the temerity to sleep in her bed while she was gearing up for a trip to New Zealand.

From her appearance on Kelly & Ryan (transcribed by MMA Weekly):

“We stopped by the house right before we were going to go to the airport and he was going to sneak away and go ask my mom for permission but right when we got to the house, we realized we were robbed,. Someone had been squatting in my house for like three days, sleeping in my bed. [They] stole my Olympic rings, stole my guns, stole all my precious jewelry, every headphone in the house, credit cards.”

It could have been worse (just ask this former UFC champ).

According to Rousey, the suspects were “little punks” from the nearby skatepark and after a confrontation with Browne, police were able to nab the perpetrators, though no word yet if it was the same group responsible for this.

Rousey has not been seen since her technical knockout loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 last December. Unfortunately for mixed martial arts (MMA) fans, there was no indication of when “Rowdy” will find her way back to the Octagon.

Don’t hold your breath.
