Only George Roop stands between Mark Hominick and UFC featherweight champ Jose Aldo.
UFC president Dana White today confirmed a report this week on Sportsnet’s “MMA Connected” that Hominick next will meet Aldo at UFC 129 if he can best Roop next Saturday at “UFC Fight Night 23: Fight for the Troops 2.”
UFC 129, which takes place April 30 at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, will host the possible matchup, added White.
