Move over Mitch Williams Ricky Vaughn, there’s a new “Wild Thing” in Major League Baseball.

UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis had the honor of throwing out the first pitch for the Houston Astros this week, but had just a little bit of trouble finding home plate. Not that anyone expected “The Black Beast” to paint the outside corner, but it’s never a good sign when your name is being mentioned in the same breath as 50 Cent.

Here’s another angle:

Yikes.

Hopefully Lewis has better aim when he collides with fellow 265-pound contender Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight strap in the upcoming UFC 265 headliner next month in Houston. The winner will move on to unify the titles opposite Francis Ngannou.

The loser will be back on Public Access TV alongside Mattress Mack.

The Astros are currently in first place in the American League West, five and a half games ahead of the Oakland Athletics. Similarly, Lewis is ranked above Gane in the official UFC rankings, though most of his recent press has come from this grease-hating heavyweight.
