Everything you need to know about ordering and watching the Jake Paul vs. Ben Askren pay-per-view.
The highly anticipated (… right?!) boxing match between Jake Paul and Ben Askren is finally here!
Tonight from the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, the social media sensation Paul (2-0, 2 KOs) will welcome the former Bellator and ONE champion to the world of professional boxing. It is scheduled for eight rounds and there will be plenty of intrigue surrounding how Paul will fare against a seasoned combat sports veteran… albeit one whose striking is often ridiculed in MMA.
There is also a boxing vs. MMA crossover fight further down the pay-per-view, as ex-cruiserweight champion Steve Cunningham (29-9-1, 13 KOs) steps in for Antonio Tarver on short notice to fight a portly, 276 lbs ex-UFC champion Frank Mir. Reggaeton performer Reykon opens up the card with his debut against entrepreneur turned boxer Joe Fournier (8-0-1 NC, 8 KOs).
As for the legitimate boxing on the PPV, Regis Prograis (25-1, 21 KOs) is a former junior welterweight champion and he’s undoubtedly an elite talent to watch. He’s a heavy favorite against veteran Ivan Redkach (23-5-1-1 NC, 18 KOs).
We also have musical performances in between the boxing, as is the appeal and goal of Triller Fighter Club as a platform for crossing sports and entertainment together.
