How, When To Buy Tickets For UFC Lincoln

UFC Fight Night 173 tickets will soon go on sale for the “Smith vs Teixeira”-led mixed martial arts (MMA) event on ESPN+, which is set to go down on April 25, 2020, inside Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska.

And we know just how to get them.

Members of UFC Fight Club (join here) can scoop them up this Wednesday (Feb. 19, 2020) at 11 a.m. ET, while subscribers to the UFC Newsletter (sign up through UFC.com) can get theirs on Thursday (Feb. 20) starting at 11 a.m. ET. The general public won’t be able to join the party until Friday (Feb. 21 ) at 11 a.m. ET.

Prices for the tickets are unavailable at the moment, but there will be a cap of eight per person.

Headlining the event will be a pivotal Light Heavyweight showdown as former title contenders Anthony Smith and Glover Teixeira square off inside the Octagon. Smith is looking for his second straigth win after submitting Alexander Gustafsson last June. The win was “Lionheart’s” first after failing in his bid to dethrone 205-pound champion, Jon Jones.

Teixeira, meanwhile, is looking to score his fourth victory in a row, which will be his longest winning streak since 2013. “Hands of Stone” had a career resurgence in 2019, winning all three of his fights and has gone 4-1 since 2017. A win over Smith would catapult Teixeira further up the rankings and get him closer to his second-ever shot at the division strap.

In the co-main event, Evan Dunham and Michael Johnson collided in a highly-intriguing Lightweight showdown while Cynthia Calvillo takes on Antonina Shevchenko in women’s Strawweight action.
