Mark Hunt has some words for Brock Lesnar before their UFC 200 matchup.
Mark Hunt has been given a marquee fight on one of the biggest cards in UFC history, when he was chosen to face the returning Brock Lesnar. Hunt has been chatting to the media about the fight to build it up, and has already had a few different things to say about his opponent regarding his USADA exemption. This time, he just outright said that Lesnar was on steroids (via SI.com)
“Lesnar’s been juicing his whole career,” said Hunt. “I’m still going to go out there and punch his face in until he’s knocked out.”
With that being said, Hunt does respect Lesnar and his past accomplishments:
“If you don’t respect someone in a fight, then you’re going to get pummeled,” said Hunt. “I respect Brock. He’s such a big guy, he can punch you out, and he’s won a UFC title, which I’ve never done. Of course I respect Lesnar as an athlete, but he’s been inactive for a long time. He thinks he’s going to pull me right down and the fight’s over, but I’m not going to let it go down like that.”
He was also asked about a wild rumor of the two men meeting at WWE’s SummerSlam in August, saying he respects pro wrestling because he had done it before in Japan, but he only wants to fight Lesnar for real.
The two men will throw down in the co-main event of UFC 200 on July 9th.
