UFC Vegas 34 fighter Chase Sherman has a bone to pick with a sponsor who allegedly screwed him out of money.

Chase Sherman is about ready to smoke a local cigar vendor who allegedly burned him.

Sherman (15-7) faces fellow heavyweight Parker Porter (11-6) at UFC Vegas 34, taking place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sat., Aug. 21 via ESPN+. “The Vanilla Gorilla” plans to rip the arms — at least figuratively — off a sponsor who stiffed him after stiffening out Porter on Saturday.

Sherman, 31, met the sponsor while the former was on duty as a firefighter and the latter was working as an EMT.

“I used to have a local cigar sponsor down here. But the guy ended up being a total piece of s—t and not answering the phone,” Sherman tells MMAMania.com. “He says, ‘Hey man, I’d love to get up with you and do a sponsorship for your fights.’ I’m in the middle of trying to carry this 300-pound drunk Mexican lady on New Year’s Eve outside of this single-wide trailer. And he’s trying to talk to me about sponsors.

“I had my return to the UFC and I had my first fight in Jacksonville. I went over there and he wanted to do a sponsorship. Long story short, I did all this stuff for him. I did these events, these cornhole tournaments, music events, signings, poker nights. All this s—t. And he just never wanted to answer the phone and pay me,” he continues. “I’m going to have to pay him a little visit here in a couple of months.”

Sherman is shocked by the sponsor’s willingness to ghost him.

Dude, you’re going to f—k over the one guy who can literally rip your face off. You know what I mean? I could show up here with 12 guys from my club and we’ll just ransack this motherf—ker, if we wanted to. But we’re civilized gentlemen, we’re not going to do that,” he assures. “I’m glad you asked me about that because I want it to be publicly known that guy f—ked me.”

UFC Vegas 34 is headlined by a ranked middleweight clash between Jared Cannonier and Kelvin Gastelum.
