Well, that was quick.
Earlier today (Wed., Sept. 25, 2024), during the “Beterbiev Vs. Bivol” undercard launch press conference in London, Chris Eubank Jr., who is scheduled to take on Kamil Szeremeta on Oct. 12 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh absolutely exploded on boxing promoters Eddie Hearn and Frank Warren calling them “scumbags” and accusing Warren of lying and cheating.
Warren threatened to sue, according to TalkSPORT.

It took six hours for Eubank Jr. and Warren to calm down and apologize to each other.
“Following today’s press conference for the historic Riyadh Season event on October 12th, I would like to retract my inaccurate statements and offer my apologies to Frank Warren, Eddie Hearn, and Kalle Sauerland. I now wish to focus purely on boxing and preparing for a huge fight in Riyadh next month,” Eubank Jr. said in a statement via talkSPORT.
“I accept Chris’s apology and retraction,” Warren said. “I too have said things before and apologise to him also if any criticism of him has upset him in the past. I look forward to seeing him compete on this huge Riyadh Season card. We look ahead to some potentially massive bouts in the future.”

Did the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia and the boxing savior Turki Al-Sheikh force this apology?
The world may never know.
