“The Gypsy King” is a different fighter.
Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury run it back this weekend (Sat., Dec. 21, 2024) in an epic rematch for the WBA, WBC, and WBO Heavyweight titles inside Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (watch their “Grand Arrivals”).
Fury will be looking to exact his revenge against Usyk this weekend. In May, “The Gypsy King” lost his covered undefeated record to the Ukrainian fighter, but according to him, he was only fighting at 40%.
“Knocking a motherf—ker out. That’s it. That’s what I’m planning on: getting him out of there,” Fury told Fight Hub TV. “I did everything great last time. I didn’t get the win, it was a close fight. This time, it’s going to be a different fighter. I’m going to be a different person and fighter. I was 40% last time and 110% this time…I don’t want to make any excuses, but let’s just say the real Tyson Fury will show up on Saturday night.”
“I don’t believe I’m going to knock him out; I know I’m going to do it,” Fury concluded. “When he comes on the attack, I’m going to annihilate him. I’ve proved myself time and time again, and I’m here to put on a show and regain everything that I’ve lost.”
If we all know one thing, Fury knows how to sell a fight, and he’s doing it again so buckle up, there are only four more days until these behemoths collide for Heavyweight gold.
