Oh boy, “New Mansa” is at it again …
It has been three weeks since Joaquin Buckley scored a massive win at UFC St. Louis over Nursulton Ruziboev and then made one of the worst post-fight callouts of all time (Conor McGregor). And ever since, “New Mansa” has been all over social media defending his callout.
However, late last week, Buckley out-did himself, claiming he’d knockout prime Georges St-Pierre.
NGL if me and Gsp fought at the same age( 30 ) I’d knockout the goat TBH https://t.co/ikXSpGAfHy

“NGL [not gonna lie] if me and GSP fought at the same age( 30 ) I’d knockout the goat,” Buckley wrote on Twitter.
Unsurprisingly, he got absolutely cooked on Twitter:
No the fuck you wouldn’t.
He would nullify your average skills with ease and make you feel brand new to the game just like he did all the fighters that were much better than you.
Win a belt before u start chirping this delusional nonsense.

You couldn’t knockout Alex Morono but you can KO GSP??

He would have smothered you like a blanket for 25-minutes, and there would have been nothing you could have done about it.

Even UFC legend, Cub Swanson, piled on … and Buckley clapped back:
Better men have tried and couldn’t do it ???
— Cub Swanson (@CubSwanson) May 25, 2024

Kevin Holland — who knocked out Buckley in his promotional debut (watch highlights) — also hit his former opponent with a zinger.
Dude can’t beat me how tf he gonna beat GSP#oncoco https://t.co/tbZIGSCgVU

St. Pierre turned 30 in 2011, the same year that he defended UFC’s Welterweight title a sixth time, breaking the promotion’s record for most defenses. He would defend the title three more times before taking a four-year hiatus from the sport (here’s why).
Professional fighters obviously have to be confident and believe they would defeat anyone, but “GSP” might be a little bit of a stretch for good ole’ “New Mansa.”Nevertheless, Buckley is riding a four-fight win streak since dropping to Welterweight.
