Someone arrived to Dan Ige’s house at 6:30 a.m. to collect blood and the fighter assumed they were with USADA.

Dan Ige is going to need some intentional blood work after unintentionally giving his blood to a random person.

The Hawaiian UFC fighter used Twitter to vent about an early morning exchange that resulted in him giving blood to a complete stranger. “So pissed off. Someone came over this morning,” an irate Ige wrote Thursday morning.

“I thought it was USADA. They took my blood and everything and [I] come to find out these people went to the wrong house address,” he continued, noting they “did not work for USADA.”

Ige took some blame for the incident. He admitted, “I’m so mad and sure [some] of this is my fault,” but argued he was “just cooperating” under the assumption they were with USADA. Apparently, the stranger rang his “doorbell six times at 6:30 a.m… Now I probably have AIDS,” he concluded.

Former UFC fighter and current PFL athlete Ramsey Nijem chimed in. “Ha ha, wild,” wrote a clearly amused Nijem. “You now have a clone.”

Ige has rattled off three consecutive wins, most recently dropping and submitting Danny Henry at 1:17 of round one at UFC London in March. He does not currently have a bout scheduled, but if Nijem has his way than Ige will be paired up with his evil twin.
