Ilir Latifi vs Antonio Rogerio Nogueira set for UFC Fight Night 112 on June 25

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has assembled a power-punching light heavyweight showdown for the upcoming UFC Fight Night 112 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on FOX Sports 1, which takes place Sun., June 25, 2017 inside Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.

Ilir Latifi vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

Latifi (12-5) is looking to rebound from a knockout defeat to the since-departed Ryan Bader at UFC Fight Night 93 last September. The loss to “Darth” snapped an impressive three-fight winning streak.

Nogueira (22-8) was also finished off by Bader when they traded punches at UFC 100 back in November. The aging Brazilian is just 1-3 over the past four years, getting finished in two of those three losses.

Getting creamed here could result in “the talk.”

UFC Fight Night 112 will also feature a featherweight showdown pitting ex-champion BJ Penn opposite featherweight brawler Dennis Silver. Elsewhere on the card, Johny Hendricks tangles with middleweight “Barbarian” Tim Boetsch.

Stay tuned for more fight card announcements in the coming weeks.
