LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – “The Highlight” is okay.

Justin Gaethje suffered an absolutely brutal knockout loss last night at UFC 300 (Sat., April. 13, 2024) when Max Holloway slept him with one second left in the fight from inside the T-Mobile Arena (watch highlights). Gaethje lost his “Baddest Motherf—ker” (BMF) belt but was awarded ‘Fight of the Night.’

A few hours after the devastating knockout, Gaethje took to his social media to give an update.

“I’m in great spirits with my family,” Gaethje wrote. “Thanks for all the love. What a sport. @BlessedMMA, you’re a dog. Congrats. Well deserved double bonus #ufc300.”

It is great to hear that Gaethje is okay. It was a scary knockout, and he was rushed out of the octagon after the fight.

“Sin City” also smacked Gaethje (25-5) because he gambled a Lightweight title shot at UFC 300 and lost it brutally. “The Highlight” snapped his two-fight winning streak, where he initially won the BMF belt.
