Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) middleweight attraction Kevin Holland recently suffered an undisclosed injury and was subsequently forced to withdraw from his Kyle Daukaus rematch, previously scheduled for the UFC Vegas 42 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on ESPN+ on Sat., Nov. 13 at APEX in Las Vegas.
That’s according to a report from MMA Junkie.
“Hey [Kevin] sorry to hear about the injury,” Daukaus wrote on social media. “Heal up. I’ll see you in February, but first I’m gonna handle some business.”
Daukaus is expected to remain in the Nov. 13 lineup.
Holland and Daukaus first went to war at UFC Vegas 38 earlier this month in “Sin City,” but the bout was ruled a “No Contest” after an accidental clash of heads. No word yet on if or when the promotion plans to settle their 185-pound score.
