Invicta FC 16: Hamasaki vs. Brown takes place tonight on UFC Fight Pass starting at 8:30 PM ET/5:30 PM PT. Bloody Elbow is your place to discuss all of tonight’s action, which includes the atomweight and interim flyweight championship fights.

No UFC? No Bellator? No worries, because you can get your MMA fix with World Series of Fighting on Saturday night, but the weekend’s action kicks off tonight with Invicta FC 16 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event of this stacked card is an atomweight (105 lbs) title defense for champion Ayaka Hamasaki against Amber Brown. Japan’s Hamasaki took the title away from Herica Tiburcio by split decision last July.

With flyweight champion Barb Honchak taking time off, an interim title has been created in her absence. In an all-Brazilian clash, Vanessa Porto takes on Jennifer Maia in a rematch of a 2011 encounter which ended with Porto winning by armbar.

Invicta FC 16 also features the return of former bantamweight title challenger Irene Aldana, who welcomes ex-UFC fighter Jessamyn Duke back to the promotion. Fan favorite Roxanne Modafferi is back in action against DeAnna Bennett. TUF 20’s Angela Hill, replacing the injured Alexa Grasso, will face Stephanie Eggink in what should be an intriguing contest. Keep an eye out for 4-1 flyweight prospect Andrea “KGB” Lee, who faces veteran Sarah D’Alelio in the early portion of the event.
