An undisclosed injury has forced featherweight slugger Veronica Rothenhausler off the fight card for Invicta FC 5, promotion officials announced on Monday.

Her opponent, Mollie Estes, will now meet Canadian kickboxer Julia Budd on the night’s main card. The MMA Corner first reported the news.

Invicta FC 5 takes place April 05, 2013 at the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Kansas City, MO. A pair of title bouts highlight the event, which also features the debut of former Strikeforce champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos.

Estes (1-1) becomes the third different opponent scheduled for Budd (4-2). The 29-year-old was initially slated to fight Ediane Gomes and then Fiona Muxlow, both of whom were eventually pulled from the bout to fight Santos.

The 37-year-old Estes is winless thus far in her Invicta FC campaign, having fallen to strikes at the hands of Randi Miller at the promotion’s debut event.

Budd, meanwhile, rebounded from her loss to Ronda Rousey by racking up two quick victories under the Invicta FC banner, knocking out both Elina Nilsson and Danielle West in the first round.
