Iuri Alcantara will return to the Octagon in May.
The UFC announced that Alcantara, ranked No. 7 in the bantamweight division, is set to clash with Vaughan Lee at UFC Fight Night card in Berlin, Germany, on May 31.
The UFN card takes place at the O2 World arena and will be headlined by a middleweight bout featuring Gegard Mousasi and Mark Munoz.
Fresh off a decision win over Wilson Reis in Brazil, Alcantara (29-5, 1 no-contest) has struggled to win back-to-back fights since 2012. “Marajo”, who stopped Ricardo Lamas under the WEC banner, is 4-2 with one no-contest inside the Octagon.
Lee (14-9-1), who has bounced between wins and losses in six UFC appearances, enters the fight coming off a unanimous decision victory over Nam Pham at the TUF: China Finale card in March. His other UFC wins were against Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto and Motonobu Tezuka.
