[CW: The following story details an accusation of sexual assault]
TikTok star Justin Paradise has posted a video to YouTube in which she accuses YouTuber turned celebrity boxer Jake Paul of sexually assaulting her (per BBC). The 20 minute long video titled ‘TRIGGER WARNING: Jake Paul Sexually Assaulted Me’ can be viewed in its entirety below.
In the video Paradise said that she was assaulted by Paul two years ago and that she had kept quiet about this because she had signed a non-disclosure agreement. She said is is common for people to sign NDAs before being admitted to Paul’s ‘Team 10 House’ residence in California.
Paradise said that one day at Team 10 House Paul pulled her into a corner and started kissing her. She said she was fine with this. However, she said Paul then lead her to a bedroom where she claimed he touched her body in ways she did not consent to.
She said she tried to move Paul’s hands away, which Paul complained about. Paradise claimed that Paul then got on top of her and forced her to perform oral sex on him.
“He didn’t ask for consent or anything,” Paradise said. “That’s not okay. On no level at all is that okay.”
Paradise said she hoped that, by her telling this story, Paul “realizes what he did and doesn’t do it again.”
Paul released a statement to TMZ, through his attorney, denying all of Paradise’s accusations. That statement reportedly reads:
“While others have already begun to debunk the claim alleged against him, our client categorically denies the allegation and has every intention of aggressively disproving it and pursuing legal action against those responsible for the defamation of his character. Our client believes that any false allegations diminish the credibility of those who have truly been victims of misconduct.”
Since then Paul has also released a public comment regarding these accusations. His statement is presented below:
