Joanna Jedrzejczyk truly knows what is is to have the fighting spirit. Starting her career with 14 straight victories, Joanna captured the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s Strawweight title back in 2015 and went on to defend five straight times before coughing it up to Rose Namajunas at UFC 217 last November.
In the video play embedded above courtesy of Modelo — UFC’s new official beer sponsor — Joanna talks about what the fighting spirit means to her by recapping some of the highlights of her ever-impressive combat career and her struggles with learning certain aspects of the mixed martial arts (MMA) game.
Joanna will look to put it all on the line once more as she looks to reclaim the 115-pound strap when she rematches Namajunas in the co-main event of the upcoming UFC 223: “Ferguson vs Khabib” event on April 7, 2018 in Brooklyn, New York.
