The UFC has booked a battle of Jessicas for their Singapore event in June.
The UFC’s next event in Singapore will play host to an intriguing women’s flyweight fight. According to MMA Fighting, the promotion has booked Jessica Eye to take on Jessica-Rose Clark at the June show.
Eye (12-6, 2-6 UFC) saved her UFC career with a split decision win over Kalindra Faria in her UFC flyweight debut in January. That broke a four-fight losing streak, with all of those fights coming at bantamweight.
Clark (9-4, 2-0 UFC) has done very well in the UFC thus far, defeating the likes of Bec Rawlings and Paige VanZant in her first two bouts in the promotion.
Clark is currently ranked as the number nine contender at women’s flyweight in the official UFC rankings, while Eye sits one spot below her at ten.
UFC Singapore goes down on June 23rd, and could possibly be headlined by a featherweight bout between former champion Jose Aldo and rising contender Jeremy Stephens. That bout has not been confirmed as of yet though.
