UFC 261 had a lot of big finishes and the reactions Joe Rogan had were almost as good as the moments themselves.
It’s been a year since the UFC has been able to run full shows with fans, and while you may question the timing of their return to sold out arenas, you can’t deny the different energy these shows bring. UFC 261 was a rollercoaster ride of action and drama, all propelled forward by 15,000 people in the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena cheering their hearts out.
Also brought back together after several months sitting far apart due to COVID-19 protocols: UFC 261’s announcers: Jon Anik, Daniel Cormier, and Joe Rogan. They all got caught up in the excitement too as Rose Namajunas knocked out Zhang Weili with a headkick and Kamaru Usman separated Jorge Masvidal from his consciousness in the main event.
Rogan’s reactions were so great that he started trending on Twitter above and beyond UFC 261 and the fighters. Take a look at his reaction to Rose Namajunas catching Zhang Weili with a head kick:

The emotions continued for him as he started to cry interviewing Namajunas!
And then the booth’s reaction to Kamaru Usman starching Jorge Masvidal with a hard left. Check out Rogan trying to hold Jon Anik’s hand:

“I always feel very fortunate to have my seat at the commentary table, and I still get goosebumps before big fights like I did when I first started working for the UFC many years ago,” Rogan wrote in an Instagram post after the show. “If it’s possible, I think I appreciate it even more now than ever. It was a real honor to be there last night. It really felt like I was witnessing history.”
Well, we’re definitely witnessing another meme being born. These Rogan reacts will live on forever … or at least until the next batch.
