The promotion announced Friday morning that the flyweight fight will take place at UFC Fight Night 30 on Oct. 26 in Manchester, England. The bout was originally scheduled to take place at UFC 163 earlier this month in Brazil, however, Harris withdrew from the fight after suffering a broken orbital bone while training.
Lineker (22-6) won his third fight in a row last week in Rio de Janeiro, defeating late replacement Jose Maria via second-round TKO. That was the good news. The bad news was he missed weight for the second time in his UFC career, which changed the fight into a 129-pound catchweight bout.
Harris (22-10, 1 NC) won his first UFC fight in his native England in February when he defeated Ulysses Gomez via unanimous decision.
UFC Fight Night 30, headlined by Michael Bisping vs. Mark Munoz, will air live from the Manchester Evening News Arena on FOX Sports 2, which is what FUEL TV will become on Aug. 17.
