In a highly unusual move for any fighter – let alone a champion – UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones was spotted spending time interacting with fans and signing autographs.
While Jones is set to fight Daniel Cormier in the main event of the evening, the champion decided to stray from typical pre-fight behavior of virtually every fighter by leaving the backstage dressing room area to interact with the crowd. Most fighters elect to spend pre-fight time so close to competition warming up, relaxing with team members or some combination of the two.
