UFC light heavyweight king Jon Jones teases of a ‘big fight announcement’.
It’s been two months since Jon Jones last defended his UFC light heavyweight title, but the reigning champion is already itching to get back into the Octagon.
In a recent post on social media, the pound-for-pound phenom teased of a ‘big fight announcement’ in the coming days, but gave no hint about his opponent.

“Buckle your seatbelt my friends, Big fiight announcement coming soon,” Jones posted on Twitter yesterday.
‘Bones’ last fought at UFC 239, where the 32-year-old edged out a split decision victory over unorthodox Brazilian knockout artist Thiago Santos in a headlining title bout at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena.
Jones has previously flirted with a heavyweight superfight against WWE superstar Brock Lesnar, but Lesnar is reportedly retired from MMA. The only other ‘big’ fight that springs to mind is a possible rematch with longtime rival Daniel Cormier, or perhaps a heavyweight title bout against Stipe Miocic, who recently TKO’d ‘DC’ to reclaim the HW belt.
