Once again, Jon Jones proves that he is a walking, talking, tweeting public relations nightmare.
We’re a few weeks into the unveiling of the new and improved Jon Jones, who declared after his latest arrest (this time for domestic battery) that he was leaving alcohol in his past. How’s it going? Well, we haven’t seen too much accountability for his latest incident, which according to police reports left blood on his fiancé and their hotel bed.
“I love how people are imagining the worst possible situation in their heads and making it somehow factual,” Jones wrote on Twitter. “I never hit my fiancé and our daughters were woken up after our confrontation. My daughters didn’t see or hear us arguing.”
He also took his former coach Mike Winkeljohn’s decision to eject him from his longtime home at JacksonWink Gym as a betrayal by Mike rather than a response to his own horrific behavior.
“Had a heartbreaking conversation over the phone with one of my longtime coaches last night, really hurts to lose the support of someone I respect so much,” Another Jones tweet read. “Sincere thank you to the rest of the coaches for staying in the fight with me. Our journey continues.”
And now Jones continues to deflect or accept any criticism for the quite obviously traumatic event he put his family through on the night of September 24th. I mean, why would he do any of that when he can just send angry DMs to the MMA Fansided’s roving reporter instead calling her a witch and telling her to F off?

“First of all you literally look like a witch,” the message from Jones’ Twitter account read. “Second of all keep my girls out of your mouth. You have no clue what’s normal to them. You’re disgusting over there judging someone else. F—k off.”
As for what he was responding to?
I didn’t send him a message but I have been vocal in my coverage of his arrest and past with domestic violence, it’s not a secret how I feel.

I tweeted that his daughters will learn to accept an abusive man because that’s what they see/think is normal. That’s what he is referring to.

Kaplan is a fixture at combat sports events around Las Vegas and was on location at the UFC Apex covering the UFC Vegas 40 weigh-ins when Jones sent her the DM and blocked her.
Just add this latest Twitter interaction to the pile of social media since his last arrest that signal Jones’ complete inability to accept any blame or responsibility for his own actions.
