What a difference a year makes.

Shortly after Jon Jones destroyed Alexander Gustafsson in the UFC 232 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, the sportsbooks listed “Bones” as the betting favorite against three of the biggest heavyweight names in all of mixed martial arts (MMA).

Daniel Cormier, Brock Lesnar, and Stipe Miocic.

Since then, Miocic has been able to recapture the 265-pound title from “DC,” while Jones has rattled off three straight light heavyweight title defenses. Unfortunately, he’s looked progressively worse each time out.

Causing Dominick Reyes to declare himself “The People’s Champion” in the wake of UFC 247.

The promotion is unlikely to book an immediate rematch and Jones has long teased a trip up to the heavyweight division, which may or may not come after this fight. But as it stands, “Bones” has now dropped to a +130 underdog against Miocic.

His betting lines against Cormier and Lesnar, however, have since been removed.
