Light heavyweight champion Jon Jones shares his thoughts on UFC Rio Rancho’s headliner fight between Corey Anderson and Jan Blachowicz.

Corey Anderson has had his personal issues with light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. But after he ended up losing to Jan Blachowicz via first-round knockout at UFC Rio Rancho, “Bones” is having the last laugh.

“I was happy to see Corey Anderson eat his words,” Jones told ESPN’s Laura Sanko in a post-fight interview. “He’s been talking so much trash, and then to go out there and perform the way he did its…”

Blachowicz may have made a strong case for the next title shot. And while a rematch against Dominick Reyes is also in the conversation, Jones says he is welcome to take on this new challenge.

The 36-year-old Blachowicz is now on a three-fight win streak. He also won an extra $50,000 for Performance of the Night honors.
