Jon Jones predicts a knockout victory for Jan Blachowicz in tomorrow night’s UFC 259 main event.
Has Jon Jones retracted his prediction for UFC 259?
The former two-time UFC light heavyweight champion initially predicted Jan Blachowicz would KO Israel Adesanya but has since deleted his tweet.

“Jan by KO,” Jones tweeted and deleted on Friday.
‘Bones’ has a long-running rivalry with Adesanya and a win for ‘The Last Stylebender’ on Saturday would inch both men closer to their much-talked-about superfight. Adesanya, the reigning middleweight champion, said he is willing to jump up to heavyweight if Jones wins the belt in his heavyweight debut, promising to ‘slap’ his rival at any weight class.
“If I was waiting (to defend the light heavyweight title) I’ll just go back to 185 and f**k people up there and then if he (Jones) wins the heavyweight belt, I’ll just jump up and take that off him. It would be cool,” Adesanya said. “It’s like, oh you took my old toy now I want it back, then comes back down and I’ll slap him across the face.”
Before there’s any further talk of that matchup, however, Adesanya must first prove he can withstand Blachowicz’s ‘legendary Polish power’ in tomorrow night’s main event, something Jones obviously thinks the undefeated middleweight is incapable of.
Adesanya, though, has predicted a flawless performance in his light heavyweight debut, claiming Blachowicz won’t be able to touch him just as Paulo Costa couldn’t at UFC 253.
“I’m not getting touched this fight, that’s my plan, not getting touched like I did in the Costa fight,” he said.
UFC 259: Blachowicz vs. Adesanya will take place Saturday, March 6 at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.
