Justin Gaethje is itching for a fight against Conor McGregor.
Fans and fighters are growing impatient with Conor McGregor’s indecisiveness when it comes to his UFC career.
The Irishman was expected to return to the Octagon later this year but the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champ is now flirting with a return to the boxing ring, as McGregor challenged Floyd Mayweather Jr. to a rematch following Andy Ruiz Jr.’s shocking upset win over Anthony Joshua at New York’s Madison Square Garden last Saturday.
Boxing is great, I am going to relish another go!
I challenge Juan Manuel Mayweather to a rematch.
Under the tutelage of my old club.
We’ll see then mate.— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) June 2, 2019
This didn’t go down well with former WSOF lightweight titleholder Justin Gaethje, who responded by calling McGregor a ‘p-ssy’ for wanting to box.
Do it the right way pussy. Stop shitting on the integrity of the sport. You want @TeamKhabib again you fight me, or the winner of Cowboy and Ferguson or get the fuck out of here and enjoy all that money.

“Do it the right way pussy. Stop shitting on the integrity of the sport. You want @TeamKhabib again you fight me, or the winner of Cowboy and Ferguson or get the fuck out of here and enjoy all that money,” Gaethje posted.
McGregor, 30, last fought in the boxing ring in August of 2017, when he was TKO’d by pound-for-pound great Floyd Mayweather Jr. in the 10th round of their blockbuster fight at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena. The former ‘champ-champ’ feels the fight was stopped too early and is adamant that he would beat ‘Money’ in a rematch.
Gaethje, who has won Fight of the Night and Performance of the Night bonuses in all five of his fights under the UFC banner, is currently without an opponent. ‘The Highlight’ last fought earlier this year in March, when he knocked out Edson Barboza in the first round of the UFC on ESPN 2 main event at at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Gaethje is one of the most exciting fighters on the UFC roster and is currently ranked at #5 in the official lightweight rankings.
