A ridiculously violent fight is going down in 2025.
Today (Thurs., Dec. 19, 2024), top Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Lightweight contender Renato Moicano revealed to Laerte Viana that No. 3 ranked Justin Gaethje and No. 6 seeded Dan Hooker are going to fight each other next, according to “people behind the scenes.”

Gaethje, 36, has been out of action since the legendary UFC 300 card in April, in which Max Holloway viciously knocked him out in the last second of their ‘Fight of the Year’ candidate (watch highlights). Prior to his knockout loss, “The Highlight” was riding a two-fight win streak where he slept Dustin Poirier at UFC 291 and decisioned Rafael Fiziev in London.

Hooker, 34, has had quite a resurgence since losing four of five fights between 2020 and 2022. “Hangman” is riding a three-fight win streak with victories over Claudio Puelles, Jalin Turner, and most recently, Mateusz Gamrot at UFC 305, where he scored a Fight of the Night bonus.
If Gaethje and Hooker do, in fact, collide at UFC 313 next year, it will be a front-runner for Fight of the Year because of the potential violence and pure excitement that they fight with.
JUST BLEED!
