Former two-time Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Flyweight champion Brandon Moreno scored an impressive win at UFC Edmonton last night (Sat., Nov. 2, 2024) when he battered No. 3 ranked Amir Albazi for five rounds to score a dominant unanimous decision win.
Immediately following Moreno’s stunning win in which he passed former UFC Flyweight kingpin Demetrious Johnson’s record (1059) for most significant strikes landed in the UFC Flyweight division, 125 lb bad boy Manel Kape gave Moreno credit for a good fight but warned him he’d make him do the chicken dance.
“I would like to see Moreno stand like that in front of me; I would make him dance the chicken dance,” Kape wrote on Twitter. “But we have to give the credits, good performance.”

Kape got roasted on social media after his tweet.
You probably could if you actually threw punches
Albazi and Moreno both beat you. You haven’t impressed anyone in years
Your last fight sucked bad
Is he forgetting that a kid on short notice was boxing his head off or something
That’s so much talk for a shitty fighter like you, don’t mind me i really like you but bro you talk too much shit that you don’t back up
How on God’s green earth you can even pretend to speak like this after your last fight is craziness
A Kape vs. Moreno fight would be amazing, but unfortunately, “Starboy” can’t win the ‘big fight’ to get him to No. 1 contender status. He lost his last fight to Muhammad Mokaev via unanimous decision.
Kape will have a chance to get back into the win column on the last UFC card of the year in Tampa, FL, against Bruno Silva.
