Two welterweight veterans will collide inside the Bellator cage in October.
Fresh off a first-round win over Phil Baroni, Karo Parisyan is set to return to action against Marius Zaromskis at Bellator 127, which is scheduled to take place at the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, Calif., on Oct. 3. Zaromskis announced the match-up on his Facebook page, and Bellator officials confirmed the news to Sherdog.
Parisyan (20-10, 1 no-contest) looks for his third win inside the Bellator cage after scoring TKO victories over Ron Keslar and Baroni earlier this year. The UFC veteran has won five of his nine bouts since leaving the Octagon in 2011, holding a 2-1 record under the Bellator banner.
Zaromskis compiled a 16–6 (1 no-contest) fighting for promotions like Strikeforce, Dream and Cage Rage, and went 4-2 since signing with Bellator in 2012. The welterweight, who holds wins over the likes of Jason High, Hayato Sakurai and Kazushi Sakuraba, is coming off a decision victory over Vaughn Anderson at Bellator 107 in May.
Bellator 127 will also feature the return of UFC and PRIDE veteran Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou against Malik Merad.
