Comedian Katt Williams was a recent guest on Club Shay Shay with Shannon Sharpe and when it came to his fellow funnymen, the author of the “Pimp Chronicles” did not take the high road (probably because he’s so damn short).
Making the Williams’ hit list were Kevin Hart, Steve Harvey, and Cedric the Entertainer, among others, with UFC color commentator and longtime comedian Joe Rogan getting a quick mention for his unfunny podcast guests.
“If you were a comedian that cussed, you were ridiculed by the mainstream comedy-geist,” Williams said. “That would be like me being on Joe Rogan. Joe don’t want me on there, I need to be on Shannon. Joe got six comedians that never been funny he wanna push out, but that’s really how it is.”
In addition to his commentating duties for live UFC pay-per-view (PPV) events, Rogan hosts the world’s most popular Spotify podcast (with some exceptions) and extended an olive branch to Williams after the incendiary Club Shay Shay clips went viral on social media.
“I love Katt,” Rogan replied. “He’s one of my favorite comics and I’d love to have him on. We talk about him all the time. If he’s down, I’ll make it happen.”
Williams has yet to respond.
