The UFC champion met with the Crown Prince during a trip to Jordan.
Since defending his lightweight title against Conor McGregor last October, Khabib Nurmagomedov has travelled the Middle East and met with numerous political leaders in the Arab and Muslim world. His latest stop was in Jordan, where he visited Crown Prince Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II.
The undefeated lightweight champion visited Jordan to take part in a meet and greet event at the Prince Hamzah Hall on February 9th. He later visited Petra, the archeological site in southwest Jordan, visited a cancer centre in Amman, and took part in target practice at a local shooting range.

Prior to leaving Jordan, Nurmagomedov met with Prince Al Hussein, a Sandhurst British military academy graduate and second lieutenant in the Jordanian Armed Forces. Prince Al Hussein became Crown Prince in 2009, when he was just 15 years old. He has amassed an Instagram following of 1.8 million, which he uses to promote his political work, which includes addressing the UN General Assembly and the World Economic Forum.
Nurmagomedov, who received a $500,000 fine and a nine-month suspension for his role in the UFC 229 post-fight brawl, will likely continue his tour of the Middle East. He recently posted a picture of himself standing in front of the Haram ash-Sharif and the Temple Mount in Jerusalem.
