Khabib Nurmagomedov engages in a brief Twitter exchange with Conor McGregor.

After more than a year since their fight that ended in decisive fashion, there is still no love lost between Conor McGregor and undefeated UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. The two men once again engaged in a brief back-and-forth on Twitter.

It all started when “The Eagle” responded to McGregor’s tweet, firing back at UFC president Dana White’s statements saying “The Notorious” “isn’t the man anymore.”

What followed was a brief exchange which Khabib had no hesitations escalating.

Khabib is likely referencing to McGregor’s recently reported second sexual assault case where he allegedly molested a woman in a vehicle parked outside a Dublin club. The previous case of the same kind purportedly happened in December 2018 at a hotel in Dublin. McGregor has not yet been charged for that first incident.

The two fought in October 2018 at UFC 229, where Khabib won via fourth-round submission. McGregor has not fought since, but he’s been calling for a fight against former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar before the year ends.
