The 26-year-old is expected to fight UFC veteran Demian Maia in his next bout and, despite the matchup not being confirmed, Chimaev has already opened as a significant betting favorite.
Chimaev has finished all nine of his professional fights via first or second round stoppage and UFC president Dana White believes the dual-division fighter is something special.
Expect an official announcement regarding Chimaev’s next matchup in the coming weeks.
