If you didn’t know who Mairbek Taisumov was after five previous fights inside the Octagon, you’ll definitely have him on your radar after his most recent performance at UFC Fight Night 86 in Zagreb, Croatia.
The Russian took it to his, Damir Hadzovic early and often earlier today (Sun., April 10, 2016), displaying precise striking along with superb footwork. It all culminated with a devastating right uppercut that floored his foe. And he didn’t need to follow up, as the referee on call had seen enough.

The win gave Taisumov his fourth straight win inside the cage.
More importantly, however, it gave him his fourth straight finish, putting him only behind Middleweight champion Luke Rockhold (5) and tied with Ben Rothwell for longest active UFC finishes.
