Chan Sung Jung is injured and out of his July fight with Ricardo Lamas.
Bad news for MMA fans: fan favorite Chan Sung Jung, or The ‘Korean Zombie’, is out of July’s UFC 214 pay-per-view due to injury, according to MMA analyst Robin Black.
Black broke the news on Twitter earlier today, to the dismay of several Korean Zombie enthusiasts. The details of his injury are unknown.

Media outlets MMAjunkie and Fox Sports have since confirmed Black’s initial report.
Jung, 30, returned to the Octagon earlier in February after spending almost four years away from the sport due to mandatory military service in his home country of South Korea.
The former featherweight title challenger, who lost to champion Jose Aldo in 2013, made short work of Dennis Bermudez at UFC Fight Night 104, finishing the former Ultimate Fighter contestant with a perfectly placed uppercut and follow-up punches in the first round.
Jung showed no signs of ring rust, and the UFC immediately booked him for a top contender’s bout with Ricardo Lamas at UFC 214.
Lamas, 35, lost to interim champion Max Holloway last year but rebounded with a submission over Charles Oliveira at The Ultimate Fighter Latin America 3 Finale at Arena Ciudad de Mexico in Mexico City.
Jung vs. Lamas was set to take place on the main card, and the UFC will be looking to book a high-profile replacement for ‘The Bully’.
UFC 214, which features the highly anticipated light heavyweight championship rematch between Daniel Cormier and Jon Jones, takes place on July 29 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
