We’re told the woman claims she suffered major injuries including a severely broken nose, a concussion and a displaced disk in her neck.”
The 35-year-old Kovalev (32-3, 28 KO) lost two straight bouts to Andre Ward in 2016 and 2017, and was most recently upset by Eleider Alvarez, who stopped him in the seventh round of their August bout – two months after Kovalev was arrested and charged.
He is scheduled to meet Alvarez in a rematch on February 2nd in Texas.
