UFC women’s bantamweight up-and-comer Aspen Ladd will have to wait a little bit longer for that Miesha Tate fantasy fight.
That’s because the promotion chose to rebook her against the recently-injured Macy Chiasson. Originally expected to throw hands in the UFC Vegas 32 co-main event, the pair will now pack up and ship out to the “Fight Night” card on Oct. 2, according to ESPN Deportes.
That lineup is headlined by the light heavyweight banger between Thiago Santos and Johnny Walker.
Also getting contracts for October are Holly Holm and Norma Dumont. “The Preacher’s Daughter” is moving back up to featherweight to battle “The Immortal” Brazilian on Oct. 16, according to MMA Fighting, with both combatants searching for their third straight win.
As of this writing, that “Fight Night” card is still in search of a main event but is expected to feature a heavyweight collision between Andrei Arlovski and Carlos Felipe, as well as a flyweight showdown putting Luana Carolina against Maryna Moroz.
