Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently updated its official fighter rankings to reflect the results of its UFC on FOX 18 mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which took place last Saturday night (Jan. 30, 2016) inside Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Full results here.

Despite a lopsided beating of Ryan Bader (see it again here), top light heavyweight slugger Anthony “Rumble” Johnson stands fast at No. 3 on the 205-pound ladder, firmly behind former champion Jon Jones and reigning titleholder Daniel Cormier.

“Big” Ben Rothwell, however, was able to crack the top five after strangling Josh Barnett (video).

Former middleweight champion Anderson Silva returned to the official rankings — at No. 10 — after finishing up his disciplinary suspension. “The Spider” will have a chance to move up in the world when he bangs with Michael Bisping later this month (details).

That’s not all.

There you have it.

Until then, let us know what you think of the latest rankings movement in the comments section below.
